Antrim suffered their first Division Three defeat of the 2012 National League campaign as Roscommon came out on top by four points.
Liam Bradley's men got off to a great start when Michael Magill found the net after just 51 seconds at Dr Hyde Park.
But Roscommon hit back and, boosted by a goal from Conor Devaney, established a 1-7 to 1-3 interval lead.
Antrim, with six points from four matches, will hope to bounce back when they play Longford on 18 March.
