Michael Laverty finished sixth in British Superbike

Michael Laverty earned a brilliant sixth-place finish in the first British Superbike race at Oulton Park.
The Samsung Honda rider started Sunday's race from almost last on the grid.
He finished just over six seconds behind race winner Tommy Hill, while Alastair Seeley was fourth and John Laverty finished in 20th place.
Ian Lowry was forced out of the race with bike trouble after four laps.
