Seanie Johnston could play for the Lilywhites this summer after the Central Appeals Committee upheld his appeal to join Kildare side St Kevin's.
The CCCC previously turned down two appeals from Johnston for a transfer from Cavan Gaels to St Kevin's.
The fresh appeal was upheld as there was no objection from Cavan Gaels or the Cavan County Committee within the 10-day time limit prescribed.
Johnston must play for his new club before being eligible for Kildare.
However, there are no club games scheduled before Kildare's Leinster opener against Offaly on 17 June.
