Down suffered an extra-time defeat in Saturday's Christy Ring Cup semi-final replay at Ruislip.
London forward Martin Finn missed a penalty before scoring the opening goal to help the Exiles into a 1-7 to 0-5 lead at the break.
Down fought back in the second half and an Aidan Clarke goal and penalty from Conor Woods put them level.
The match finished 2-9 to 1-12 after 70 minutes before Kevin Walsh struck the decisive goal to win it for London.
