Eugene Laverty takes two fifth places at World Superbike round
Eugene Laverty secured two fifth place finishes in the World Superbike round at Brno in the Czech Republic.
The Toomebridge rider now lies seventh in the series, with Jonathan Rea dropping to fifth after crashing in race one and taking 12th in race two.
Rea made contact with Tom Sykes and high-sided while battling for a podium place in the first race of the day.
Marco Melandri won both races, with Sykes twice runner-up, but Max Biaggi still leads the championship.
