Clare earned a predictably facile 3-19 to 0-5 win over Ulster champions Down in Saturday's All-Ireland Minor Hurling quarter-finals at Mullingar.
Robbie Duggan's goal helped the beaten Munster finalists into an early 1-4 to 0-2 lead.
A further Shane O'Connell three-pointer extended the Clare advantage to 2-11 to 0-3 by the interval.
Duggan hit Clare's third goal as the Banner county set up an All-Ireland semi-final against Dublin.
