The Casement Park redevelopment project faces opposition from residents as the consultation process enters its final phase

A number of residents have reiterated their opposition to aspects of the construction of the new Casement Park as the public consultation began its final phase in Belfast on Wednesday.

Concerns include the proposed height and what the venue will be used for but Ulster GAA says it has done 'everything humanly possible' to address the issue.

The plans and a new model of the venue are on display for the next two weeks.

Ulster GAA hopes work will begin on the redevelopment before the end of 2013.

A community consultation report will be published after the consultation process has been completed.

The cost of the project is estimated at £76m and the GAA hope the stadium will be ready before the end of 2016.
