MotoGP: Michael Laverty finishes 21st in Dutch GP
Toomebridge rider Michael Laverty finished a disappointing 21st in Saturday's Dutch MotoGP at Assen.
The Paul Bird Motorsport rider is still without a point this season after eight rounds in the championship.
However, his team-mate Broc Parkes came in 11th to secure five points while world champion Marc Marquez made it eight wins from eight races.
The 21-year-old Honda rider overtook Ducati's Andrea Dovizioso with 11 laps remaining to win by 6.74 seconds.
Marquez had trailed by four seconds at one stage after an error in wet conditions caused him to lose control and slide off the track.
The Spaniard's team-mate and compatriot Dani Pedrosa finished third.
