Eugene Laverty takes first points of MotoGP season

Eugene Laverty secured his maiden points in the MotoGP world championship by finishing 14th at Le Mans in France.
The Aspar Honda rider finished behind Hector Barbera and ahead of Alvaro Bautista to pick up two points.
Spain's Jorge Lorenzo made it back-to-back wins to keep the pressure on championship leader, his Movistar Yamaha team-mate Valentino Rossi.
Rossi came home 3.82 seconds behind Lorenzo, with Dovizioso third, ahead of two-time MotoGP champion Marc Marquez.
