Down will have playmaker Mark Poland available for Sunday's Ulster SFC quarter-final against Derry after the forward's recovery from a eye injury.
Poland sustained the injury during the warm-up before the Division Two final against Roscommon in April.
"He's grand again and we're delighted he's back in full training," Down boss Jim McCorry told the Irish News.
However, Mourne trio Conor Garvey, Ryan Johnston and Ross McGarry are rated doubtful for the Celtic Park game.
Mayobridge clubman Garvey has aggravated a back injury and is struggling to be fit in time for the quarter-final encounter.
Johnston picked up an ankle injury in a club game while McGarry has a hamstring problem.
"I'm hopeful we might have one of those back, the medical team are working very hard," added McCorry.
"But at this point in time all three are very doubtful."
