Derry's attacking options have been dented by James Kielt's decision to quit the panel ahead of the Ulster semi-final against Donegal on 27 June.

The Kilrea attacker was unhappy not to be involved in the first round win over Down and has not reported for training.

Cailean O'Boyle and Terence O'Brien were brought on in Celtic Park on 7 June while Kielt stayed on the bench.

Derry will play Ulster champions Donegal at Clones bidding to reach the final for the first time since 2011.

The absence of Kielt will be of particular disappointment to Derry supporters, given his ability to kick long-range scores from free-kicks and open play.
