Lincoln's Emily Taylor is hoping to make the Great Britain squad for the Rowing World Cup in May.
Taylor, 24, finished third in the Olympic trials in the women's pairs with her partner Olivia Whitlam.
"We've got some more testing to be done which will help the coaches decide who will be taken to the World Cup," Taylor told BBC Lincolnshire.
"After the World Cup, there will be more testing and more decisions until the final Olympic selection in June."
The squad for the first World Cup event in Serbia is announced on 4 April.
Taylor has already featured for Team GB in the European Championships in 2011 and the World Rowing Under 23 Championships where she won a gold medal in 2009.
