In Sunday's session Britain went for gold in the men's eight in what was considered to be the highlight of the regatta. Jurgen Grobler's men faced stiff competition from Olympic champions Germany as well as America.
Chris Bartley, who won silver in the men's lightweight four in London, raced in the same event with three new crew members - Adam Freeman-Pask, William Fletcher and Jonathan Clegg.
