Simmons has led his St Helens team to 10 Super League wins this season

St Helens coach Royce Simmons is delighted with his side's form after Friday's 42-16 win over Leeds.

"Our consistency over 80 minutes is getting better and better," Simmons told BBC Radio Merseyside.

"If you stick to your game-plan, the points are the rewards you get. What I liked about this win is you could tell how well the players prepared."

Saints are fourth in Super League, two points behind leaders Warrington.

He added: "We've been talking about things like being more consistent for 80 minutes, playing every play by play and seeing every tackle as a try saver. We're trying to get consistent throughout our 80 minutes."
