Catalans get Clint Greenshields' stamp of approval
Aussie full-back Clint Greenshields is to take his try-scoring exploits into a sixth season with Catalan Dragons after signing a new 12-month contract.
The 29-year-old is already the French Super League side's top scorer with 56 tries in 106 appearances since joining from St George Illawarra in 2007.
"I'm very happy to stay at the club for one more season," he said.
"I feel really good and thank our coach Trent Robinson for giving me the opportunity to continue playing."
Greenshields, chosen in the 2008 Super League Dream Team, was out for two months with a dislocated elbow earlier this year.
But he has scored four tries in his last six matches to help the Dragons push their top-four claims - and he admits that his next quest is to take silverware to Perpignan.
"I'm now looking for a title in the next two years in Challenge Cup or Super League," added Greenshields.
"When you think about Catalan Dragons, you automatically think of Clint Greenshields," said coach Robinson.
"He is the first overseas player to play 100 games for the club and we are proud to have signed him for 2012."
