England full-back Shaun Briscoe has agreed to join Widnes from Hull KR at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old, who has also played at Hull FC and Wigan, moves to the Vikings on a two-year deal in time for their return to Super League.
Widnes have also tied up Macgraff Leuluai on a two-year contract after he impressed this season.
The 21-year-old joined the club from Leigh Centurions on an initial one-year deal and has made 18 appearances.
Vikings head coach Dennis Betts said of Briscoe's appointment: "When it came to recruitment, we were well aware that we needed an established player in the backs with a history of continued exposure to the highest levels of the game, both domestically and internationally, and he certainly ticks that box.
"Shaun will bring a wealth of experience and all-round quality to the Vikings, not only as a player but also as a person.
"In a similar vein to another of our recent signings, Ben Cross, he won't just play for the first team and give it his all on the pitch every week, he'll also mentor the younger players coming through our youth structure.
On Leuluai's new deal, Betts added: "Macgraff has been one of our stand-out performers this year.
"He's an athlete who pushes himself to the limit and tries his very best every single week. His performances are always full bore and he never gives less than 100%.
"As a coaching staff, we can see so much potential in him."
