Barrow Raiders lose half-back Liam Campbell to injury

Campbell is out for the rest of the season with an ankle injury

Barrow half-back Liam Campbell has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after he broke an ankle in Saturday's 26-25 win against Hunslet.

The 25-year-old suffered the injury in the build up to a try for hooker Michael Knowles, and has already planned for a summer of strengthening.

"I have already asked Dave Clark to sort me out a training programme," Campbell told the club website.

"I will be hitting pre-season training earlier than anyone else."
