Bradford Bulls hooker Matt Diskin out with shoulder injury

Matt Diskin ran in 44 tries in his 264 appearances for Leeds Rhinos

Bradford Bulls hooker Matt Diskin will miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury.

Coach Mick Potter said: "Matt's been carrying the injury for the past 10 weeks but it's got to the stage where an operation is the only option."

Diskin will have surgery on Friday and hopes to be fit to join pre-season training in November.

Since joining from Leeds Rhinos last October, Diskin has missed just one game for the Bulls.
