Huddersfield Giants centre Michael Lawrence has signed a new five-year deal at the Super League club.
The 21-year-old has made 86 appearances for the Giants and will remain at the Galpharm until the end of the 2016 season.
The England Knights international said: "I am really proud to be continuing to play for my home-town club.
"I love Huddersfield. I never wanted to go anywhere else so I'm glad we could sort it all out."
Lawrence broke into the side as a 17-year-old in 2007, and signed a five-year deal in 2008, just days after being named in the England academy squad that toured Australia.
Coach Nathan Brown added: "Both at centre and in the back row he does a really good solid job and defensively he is an exceptional player.
"He is a good lad and a good role model for other young players. He works hard on his game and his commitment and effort cannot be doubted."
