The Rugby Football League's decision not to grant Halifax a Super League licence was a fair one, according to the club's directors.
The club previously reacted angrily to the decision, but feedback from the RFL has had a positive effect.
Halifax director Tony Abbott told the club's website: "We received formal feedback and continue to hold positive dialogue with the governing body.
"We now believe the assessment was fair and objective."
He continued: "The directors accept that the RFL followed the specified process in assessing our application and we have been treated fairly and equitably.
"In the meantime I urge everyone in Halifax to get behind the club and help us look forward with confidence to what I believe is a very exciting future."
