York City Knights have signed former Super League winger Waine Pryce.
The 29-year old ex-Castleford and Wakefield man becomes new coach Chris Thorman's first signing, having spent the last 18 months at Hunslet, where he scored 11 tries in 23 games last term.
Pryce played in Super League with both Cas and Wakefield before moving to Featherstone Rovers for two seasons.
The Knights then tried to sign Pryce in 2010, but he opted to join Hunslet instead.
New Knights coach Chris Thorman told the club's website: "Waine is a player we have admired for a long time and we are delighted with the signing. He's also a proven try scorer and I am looking forward to working with him.
"His kick returns are excellent and he will help us start our sets off well."
