Barrow sign Workington's Aaron Low and Scott Kaighan
Barrow Raiders head coach Darren Holt has returned to former club Workington Town to sign Scott Kaighan and Aaron Low for the 2012 campaign.
Half-back Kaighan, 23, notched 179 points for Town in 2011 en route to the Championship One play-off final and returns to the club he left in 2009.
Low, 23, an ex-Barrow Island amateur, has been brought in to play centre where he scored five tries last season.
Meanwhile centre Chris Larkin has extended his deal for 2012.
The 25-year-old scored 10 tries in 20 games for Raiders last term.
"These signings are quality," head coach Holt told the club website.
"Larkin is very strong and will make an excellent centre in Championship One.
"Low played at centre for Town and he will fill that role for us.
"Kaighan is a prolific try scorer, very versatile and excellent at supporting the break".
