Wales international forward Andy Bracek has signed a deal to return to Barrow Raiders for the 2012 season.
The 27-year-old was a key figure in Iestyn Harris' Wales squad during the autumn Four Nations tournament with England, Australia and New Zealand.
"Bracek is a big signing for the Raiders," head coach Darren Holt said.
"He has recovered well from his injuries and the form he showed in the recent international matches bodes well for next season."
Leigh-born Bracek was linked with a move to his home-town club, after leaving Super League side Crusaders at the end of the 2011 season.
, Barrow have secured a return for the player who made 30 appearances in his last season for the club in 2010.
"Anyone who watched Andy in the recent Four Nations Tournament would have been impressed with his performances particularly, against Australia and New Zealand," director of rugby Mike Sunderland said.
"We are pleased to have signed this seasoned international."
Since making his Super League debut with St Helens in September 2004, Bracek - who once cost Warrington a sum of £20,000 - has made 59 appearances in rugby league's top flight.
He also won a Championship Grand Final with Barrow in 2009, and was a Northern Rail Cup finalist the same season.
