Barrow Raiders have re-signed Martin Ostler for the 2012 Championship season and brought ex-players Lee Dutton and James Gordon back to Craven Park.
Prop Ostler, 31, made 13 appearances, scoring two tries for Raiders in his fifth season with the club.
Dutton, also 31, made one appearance for Workington in 2011, while 25-year-old Gordon has been playing amateur rugby league with Roose Pioneers.
"Ostler can be a match-winner," head coach Darren Holt said.
"If we can keep him free of the niggling injuries that have interrupted his career over the last three seasons I'm confident that he will go well for us next season.
"Dutton and Gordon will add size and strength to what I believe has the potential to be a formidable pack."
Holt and director of rugby Mike Sunderland have been busy assembling a squad to compete in Championship One next season.
Wales international Andy Bracek is the marquee signing for Raiders, having played in Super League for Crusaders last season, and in the Four Nations for his national side.
Holt has also brought in a number of new recruits from former club Workington including highly-rated hooker Jack Pedley and half-back Scott Kaighan, and persuaded players such as Liam Harrison, Liam Campbell and Andy Ballard to remain at the club.
"Martin is an experienced forward who is capable of playing in a number of positions in the pack," Sunderland said.
"Lee and James have both played professionally with Barrow and Workington in the past and we are pleased they have decided to return to the Raiders."
