Warrington centre Stefan Ratchford is expected to be out of action for up to 12 weeks with a shoulder injury.
The 23-year-old suffered the problem during Friday's 26-18 Super League defeat by Leeds at Headingley and was forced to leave the field.
Ratchford has been an ever-present this season, scoring one try in six league matches, after joining the Wolves from neighbours Salford.
He is due to undergo surgery on the injury on Tuesday evening.
Warrington signed Ratchford last summer on a three-year deal, having rejected an offer to stay on at The Willows.
