Bradford Bulls chief Ryan Duckett hopes for investor momentum
Bradford Bulls chief executive Ryan Duckett is hoping talks with investors will start gaining momentum.
The Bulls announced on Tuesday that they had reached their initial target of £500,000 as they look to raise £1m to stay in business.
Duckett told BBC Radio 5 Live: "We've spoken to a number of parties who've been impressed by the pledge campaign.
"We will be furthering those conversations and hopefully they will pick up momentum."
Bradford won both their Easter fixtures, including a 12-4 victory over local rivals Leeds Rhinos at a packed Odsal on Friday.
Duckett continued: "A couple of people we spoke to came to the game and are well connected with the club, they were certainly impressed.
"The players have been fantastic through what has been a difficult period - an uncertain time for players, staff and supporters. But everyone has rallied together and the players played very well over the Easter period which helps conversations with these individuals."
The Bulls need to raise £1m by the end of the month to stay afloat.
