Halifax ran in 15 tries in as they thrashed South Wales Scorpions in the fourth round of the Challenge Cup at the Shay.
Anthony Bowman, Paul White and Steve Tyrer scored two tries apiece for the home side.
The Scorpions had taken the lead after just two minutes when full-back David James sprinted through a gap in the home defence for the opening try.
But Halifax quickly demonstrated their class against their lower-division opponents to establish a 36-12 at the interval lead and ran riot in the second half with nine further tries.
The game had been switched to the Shay due to the unavailability of the Gnoll.
