Wigan's Pat Richards ruled out for three months
Wigan Warriors winger Pat Richards will be out for another 12 weeks after undergoing surgery on a knee injury.
The 30-year-old was expected to be out for up to six weeks after suffering an injury in the Warriors' 56-12 victory over Hull FC last month.
"Unfortunately I'll be out for the next 12 weeks," he said. "The operation went well and the knee'll be better in the long run."
Richards had already missed five games this season through injury.
He also sat out the first two months of last season, the 2010 Man of Steel having ruptured his Achilles in Wigan's Grand Final win over St Helens.
