Hull FC prop Sam Moa has still not decided whether to stay with the club or move to the NRL in Australia at the end of the current season.
The 25-year-old Tongan is set for his 73rd appearance in Saturday's derby against Hull KR at Magic Weekend.
"I'm very much undecided because this is a good, improving club," he told BBC Radio Humberside.
"It's probably the hardest choice of my career. If I'm going to go the NRL it needs to be sooner rather than later."
He added: "You're frowned upon if you're heading towards 30 in that league so if I don't go home soon then I'll probably spend the rest of my career here.
"I'm looking at going home because I think this might be the right time but there's a lot of potential here and that's something I'm thinking about as well."
Moa joined the Black and Whites in 2009 but returned home on compassionate grounds for a spell earlier this season.
You can hear BBC Radio Humberside's build up to Saturday's derby on 95.9FM and online from 18:00 BST on Friday, 25 May.
