York City Knights' first league win of the season came as a relief for assistant coach Mick Ramsden.
The Knights beat Swinton Lions 26-22 at the Huntington Stadium to move off the bottom of the Championship table.
Ramsden told BBC Radio York: "It feels great to get that monkey off our backs. It's a good feeling.
"It was a gritty performance. We've battled hard especially in the closing stages because Swinton are a dangerous team. The lads deserved that win."
York's tries were scored by George Elliott, John Davies, James Ford and Matt Garside, whose second try for the Knights proved to be the winner.
Ramsden added: "It was probably the best try we've scored all season.
"It was a great way to win the game."
