Hull KR have signed Wakefield Trinity Wildcats prop Justin Poore on a two-year deal.
The 28-year-old Australian made 23 Super League appearances for the Wildcats last season after joining from Parramatta Eels.
"I jumped at the chance to come here because they've just signed Michael Weyham and he's one of my best mates.
"I've got a soft spot in my heart for Wakefield and it was sad to go," he told BBC Radio Humberside.
"The recruitment has been impressive here and there's a hard working ethic too and that's important.
"I feel like I'm coming into the best form of my life right now."
Poore will help fill the gap left by the departure of Evarn Tuimavave, who was released from his Rovers contract for family reasons.
