Former Academy captain Sam Wood has signed a new three-year contract with Bradford Bulls.
The 19-year-old made three Super League appearances for the Bulls last season after making his first team debut in the Challenge Cup.
Bulls head coach Francis Cummins said the young centre had more than earned his extended deal.
"He has been absolutely brilliant and we believe he will only get better from here," he added.
Wood originally joined the Bulls in 2010, and his new contract ties him to the club until the end of the 2016 campaign.
He said: "I have played a few Super League games now and I am hungry for more. Next year will be full of opportunity, with players fighting it out for spots in the team, and I am ready for the challenge.
"Pre-season training is going really well, I am loving being around the first-team squad full-time. The players who have come in are very exciting and hugely talented, and I believe there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic about 2014."
