Salford have signed Wigan Warriors hooker Logan Tomkins on a month's loan.
The 21-year-old is the first signing made by ex-Warriors assistant Iestyn Harris, who began his new role as head coach of the Red Devils on Monday.
"I am confident that Logan will enjoy a successful period here with us. I know the strengths of his game well, and can't wait for him to join us here," Harris told the club website.
Tomkins is the younger brother of two England internationals, Joel and Sam.
He featured in Wigan's Challenge Cup final victory over Hull FC at Wembley in August and was capped by England Knights, the national team's second-string side, at the end of last season.
The Red Devils travel to Bradford in Super League on Friday.
