Hull KR coach Craig Sandercock has said that there is currently no timescale on Justin Poore's recovery from injury.
The 29-year-old prop fractured his kneecap in four places in the defeat at Catalan Dragons earlier this month and has undergone surgery.
"It's a very serious injury and he's still in hospital over a week after his operation," Sandercock told BBC Radio Humberside.
"We won't know the full extent for another month or so."
He added: "There is a long road ahead of him and it's important he gets the best rehab he can and start looking forward to the process of hopefully getting back on the field."
The Australian made seven appearances for the Robins this season after joining from Wakefield in November.
