Widnes forward Willie Isa has agreed a new contract that will keep him with the Super League club until 2016.
The 25-year-old Samoa international, who has switched from the back line into the forward pack this season, is in his third year with the Vikings.
New Zealand-born Isa is the ninth Widnes player to agree new terms with Denis Betts' side in recent weeks.
"I've been impressed with his contribution to our unit this year," coach Betts told the club website.
"He's done a tremendous job. He wants to be the best he can be and he's a great personality. We are pleased to have him here in our environment."
Isa added: "I'm really enjoying my footy here. It's a great club and one which is on a real upward curve.
"We've got a great bunch of players here and we are all committed to getting the club back to where it should be, and that's right at the top of the game."
