St Helens coach Nathan Brown and Wigan coach Shaun Wane have been fined after being found guilty of misconduct by the Rugby Football League.

The charges relate to comments the pair made after Saints' 16-12 win at Wigan.

Brown criticised referee Phil Bentham and has been fined £1,000, while Wane has been fined £500 for his comments about video referee Ben Thaler.

Half of their respective fines have been suspended until the end of the 2015 Super League season.

Both Brown and Wane were deemed to be in breach of two rules; engaging in conduct which is prejudicial to the interests of the game, and criticising the character of a match official or criticising the manner in which a match official had officiated at a game in which the club had taken part.
