Wakefield Trinity Wildcats utility back Reece Lyne has extended his contract until the end of the 2017 season.
The 21-year-old, who joined the Wildcats from Hull FC in October 2012, is the club's leading try scorer this season with eight from 12 games.
He told BBC Radio Leeds: "I'm really enjoying playing with the boys and under James Webster.
"You have to enjoy where you play and I am settled in here. It's a massive thing to feel wanted."
He added: "I think in most things if you put in the hard work then you get your rewards and I have certainly worked hard.
"I've had some frustrating injuries this season but I'm hoping to get back to a good level of form now."
