Hull FC have made Gold Coast Titans centre Steve Michaels their fourth signing ahead of the 2015 season.
The 27-year-old has agreed a one-year deal with the Black and Whites, subject to international clearance.
Michaels began his career with the Brisbane Broncos before joining the Titans in May 2010.
He told the Hull FC website: "It's the right time now for me, I've still got plenty of footy left in me, and I'm looking to bring my best to the UK."
In 2009 Michaels, who can also play on the wing if required, was selected for the Queensland State of Origin squad.
He continued: "I'm excited about the move, I've heard good things about the fanatical fans and the proud history of the club.
"I spoke to [head coach] Lee Radford and he informed me of the young players coming through, whilst there is a bit of experience in there too."
