Salford Red Devils have signed St Helens prop Carl Forster.
The 22-year-old joined Saints from Pilkington Recs and progressed through the club's academy, but made just five first-team appearances as a substitute.
Forster has spent time on dual registration deals with both London Broncos and Whitehaven this year.
"Carl fits the bill perfectly for the club, he is young and hungry for a shot at Super League," said Reds head coach Iestyn Harris.
"His form in the Championship this season has been superb and we can see exciting development potential in him moving forward."
Salford have declined to disclose the length of contract Forster has signed with them.
