Relegated London Broncos have signed Halifax's Luke Adamson on a one-year deal from the start of the 2015 season.

The 26-year-old can play in the second row or at loose forward.

Adamson came through the youth system at Salford and featured 135 times before leaving for a spell in rugby union with Bath in 2012.

"We're in a great position with our recruitment and are deep in planning for pre-season," Broncos head coach Joey Grima said.

Meanwhile, the Broncos have released half-back James Woodburn-Hall from the remainder of his contract to enable him to take up a place at university.

The 19-year-old agreed a deal until the end of 2016 earlier this summer.
