Widnes Vikings have signed Leeds Rhinos forward Chris Clarkson on a season-long loan deal for the 2015 season.
The 24-year-old made his debut in Super League in 2010 and signed a five-year contract with the Rhinos a year later.
The England Knights international joined from amateur side East Leeds, leaving behind a career as an apprentice bricklayer.
"He's a player who is going to really enhance our environment," said Vikings head coach Denis Betts.
"He's coming from a very good culture at Leeds Rhinos where he's played with some quality players, and for such a young guy he's got so much experience under his belt."
