Wakefield Wildcats have signed a dual registration agreement with Championship side London Broncos.

Malta international Jarrod Sammut will be available to play for the Broncos against Leigh Centurions on Sunday.

"I already have a relationship with Jarrod having coached him at Malta," said Broncos head coach Joey Grima.

"I've watched him play over the past six seasons in the NRL and Super League and I consider him to be a valuable player because of his versatility."

He added: "His addition brings opportunities where we've been hit hard by injuries."

The Broncos have won one of their opening two league games of the new campaign following their relegation from Super League last season.

The north London side have their own dual registration agreements with Championship One sides London Skolars and Oxford RL.
