Whitehaven: Championship side appoint Tommy Todd as chairman

Whitehaven are second-bottom of the Championship after winning just once in five games

Whitehaven have named Tommy Todd as Ralph Calvin's replacement as chairman.

The move comes as part of a boardroom reshuffle at the Championship side after Barry Richardson resigned as a director, seeing Amanda Hewer become the club's new general manager.

It completes a busy period after last month.

"I'm absolutely delighted to take the role and I'm really looking forward to working on the proposed developments at the Recreation Ground," said Todd.
