St Helens moved to within four points of Super League leaders Leeds Rhinos with victory over Widnes Vikings.
Kevin Brown put Widnes ahead with a try after a clever dummy, but tries by Luke Walsh and Travis Burns turned the game.
Joe Mellor went over to level the game at 12-12 at half-time before Alex Walmsley's try put the hosts ahead.
Matt Whitley kept Widnes in the game, before Matty Fleming's effort, Tommy Makinson's 80-yard try and Mark Percival's score ensured the hosts won.
It was an eighth victory of the season for St Helens and it lifted them into second place behind Leeds, who were beaten at home by Warrington.
After a scoreless opening 22 minutes, Brown dummied his way through the St Helens defence to put the visitors ahead, while Jack Owens added the extras to reach 50 points for the season.
But two scores from St Helens within three minutes of each other overturned Widnes' lead.
An interception by Walsh saw him run through to score and a successful kick from Burns brought St Helens level.
A great drive by James Roby then set up Walsh to free Burns to go over. The latter added the conversation himself to give the hosts a six-point lead.
But a great piece of skill by replacement Aaron Heremaia was the catalyst for a second Widnes try, as his pass was finished off by Mellor, with Owens' kick ensuring the game was level at half-time.
Walsh's pass sent Walmsley free to scamper over as St Helens went ahead again, while Burns made it three from three with another successful kick.
Whitley sneaked in at the corner as Widnes refused to give in, but Owens put his kick to the right and the gap remained at two points.
Fleming went over at the corner after great work by Makinson as St Helens extended their lead, but Burns missed a difficult conversion which meant Widnes were within one converted score at 22-16.
Makinson ran the length of the field for a spectacular try and Percival also crossed, while Burns kicked both conversions as St Helens ended the game in style.
