Super League: Josh Griffin, Joel Moon and Scott Grix all banned

Salford centre Josh Griffin, Leeds centre Joel Moon and Huddersfield full-back Scott Grix have all been handed one-match bans by the RFL.

All three players pleaded guilty to their offences, which took place at the Magic Weekend in Newcastle.

Griffin, 25, admitting to punching Widnes' Willie Isa, while Moon, 27, was punished for making dangerous contact with Wigan's Josh Charnley.

Grix, 31, accepted he struck Catalans' Morgan Escare with his shoulder.

All three players were also fined £300 by the Rugby Football League for the incidents at Magic Weekend.

Remi Casty of Catalans (dangerous throw) and Aaron Murphy of Huddersfield (striking with the shoulder) were both found not guilty by an independent tribunal.
