St Helens winger Matty Dawson has signed a new two-year deal until the end of the 2017 Super League season.
The 24-year-old joined Saints from Huddersfield in 2012 after starting his career at Castleford.
He featured 19 times and scored six tries last season in the club's title-winning campaign.
"Sometimes I have to pinch myself that I am playing for St Helens when you consider its history. It is a massive thing for me personally," he said.
"I said when I signed two years ago that I was overwhelmed to be joining such a club and to accept another deal is a no-brainer."
Dawson signed his new deal on the same day centre Josh Jones agreed a move to rugby union side Exeter Chiefs.
