Leeds Rhinos hooker Paul Aiton is to leave the club at the end of the season after turning down a new contract.
BBC Radio Leeds understands the 30-year-old Papua New Guinea international is set to join Catalans Dragons.
Aiton joined the Rhinos from Wakefield Trinity Wildcats on a three-year deal in November 2013 but the player has used his option to terminate the contract after two years.
He has scored two tries in 23 Super League appearances this season.
Rhinos chief executive Gary Hetherington said: "It has not come as a surprise because Paul rejected a new three-year contract from us and told us of interest from other clubs some time ago, but it is always disappointing when a player of Paul's standing decides to leave the club."
