Leeds Rhinos half-back Danny McGuire has signed a new two-year deal.
The 32-year-old has scored 256 tries for the Rhinos since making his debut in 2001 and is the leading try-scorer in Super League history.
He was on the scoresheet as the Rhinos retained the Challenge Cup with a 50-0 win over Hull KR at Wembley.
He told the club's website: "I am really pleased to have the new deal agreed. I never had any intention of going anywhere else."
Leeds coach Brian McDermott added: "Danny has been in outstanding form for us this season and been a virtual ever-present throughout the campaign.
"He is part of a special generation of players who have influenced the history of this club and I know he still has a key part to play in our future."
