Whitehaven have signed hooker Nathan Lucock following his release by neighbours Workington Town at the end of the 2015 season.
The 21-year-old spent two years at Derwent Park, making 19 appearances for Phil Veivers' side.
He came into the professional game on the back of a stint with Glasson Rangers and also represented Great Britain at amateur level.
"I can't wait to get started and meet all the lads," Lucock commented.
Director of football James Robinson said: "We believe Nathan is a young man with loads of potential, he has the right attitude and we hope he will make a model professional."
