Losing Grand Finalists Wigan entertain Catalans Dragons the following day, when St Helens also host Huddersfield and Salford travel to Hull FC.
The opening weekend is rounded off on Sunday, 7 February when Hull KR host Castleford and Wakefield face Widnes.
